Hello, I'm Caroline, and I'm passionate about helping individuals navigate life's complexities with empathy, understanding, and support. With over fifteen years of experience, I have worked extensively with young people, teenagers, and adults from diverse backgrounds.
I initially trained in the psychodynamic approach, which remains at the heart of my practice. However, I have developed a more integrative approach which means I can work by looking at patterns of the past as well as the present. Above all, my commitment is to listen without judgement and collaborate closely with you.
In addition to my private practice, I have a deep-rooted involvement in the educational sector, and am currently employed part time as a counsellor in a secondary and primary school in Hertfordshire. This experience has provided me with a unique perspective and a comprehensive skill set to address the needs of both students and educators.
Furthermore, I have pursued additional training in various specialised areas, including CBT, Play Therapy, Working with Adolescents, Bereavement, LGBTQ+, Suicide Intervention and Prevention, and Mental Health. As a committed member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards in the field.
I have a current Enhanced DBS for working with young people and I am fully insured through Holistic Insurance Services.
Whether you're seeking clarity, emotional support, or self-awareness, I'm here to help you on your journey. Together, we can explore your feelings, develop strategies to manage your emotions, and move forward positively. You don't have to face life's challenges alone – let's work together to find your path to well-being.
